Brief History of Rasmussen Paper Collectibles
I was part owner of a collectible shop in Capitola, CA for about 12 years. As costs (rent, insurance, etc) became prohibitive, I began doing collectible shows and ran mail auctions. In 1984, I started my own collectible show in Santa Cruz, CA. I began working for Butterfield & Butterfield in San Francisco and in 1990 helped initiate and oversee the largest live postcard sale in the world (at that time), the Sam Stark sale. I continue to work with the auction houses and as collectibles become more and more valuable, I am doing more insurance appraisals.
INSURANCE and GENERAL APPRAISALS
